With Arsenal wonderkid Emile Smith Rowe on his way back to the Emirates Stadium, a number of Huddersfield fans have praised the Gunners gem for his superb efforts on loan.
In January this year, the 19-year-old joined the Terriers on loan until the end of the season.
Smith Rowe enjoyed a fruitful spell at the John Smith’s Stadium, making 18 Championship appearances and claiming two goals and three assists.

His efforts helped the Terriers survive the drop, ultimately finishing three points clear of the bottom three.
The victory over now-promoted West Bromwich Albion in the penultimate game – in which Smith Rowe netted a late winner – proved especially crucial in the end.
With Mesut Ozil’s Arsenal future in serious doubt, Smith Rowe could be a good shout to take over the No. 10 role in the Gunners squad.
After all, he enjoys playing in that position the most, idolises the 2014 World Cup winner, has been deemed Ozil’s “successor” by Football London, and crucially, boss Mikel Arteta is said to be a “big fan”.
Of course, the counter-argument may suggest he needs more experience, but judging by the Huddersfield fans’ reaction to his stint, he looks ready for the big time:
