Following Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Nottingham Forest, Gary Lineker has now reserved some praise for Ange Postecoglou and his side.
Despite losing Yves Bissouma to a red card on Friday, Tottenham kept their composure and their two nil lead.

And heading further into this busy festive period, Spurs now look to be building real momentum.
Moreover, the credit for this good run all has to go to Ange Postecoglou and his unrelenting philosophy.
Given all of the unavailability and bad luck Spurs have faced of late, many would have been tempted to put their backs to the wall, park the bus so to speak.
However, when speaking on ‘The Rest is Football’ podcast, Gary Lineker was so impressed with the way Postecoglou’s Tottenham have continued.
Lineker said: “Spurs! A week or so ago it was all a bit doom and gloom after the great start to the season but they have bounced back with some really good results.
“Excellent performances despite still having two or three of their best players missing but I must say that I do enjoy watching their football. Ange ball! It’s great.
“It is refreshing that regardless of what happens we are going to go for it, we are going to enjoy our football and we all know it’s a results driven business and should they collapse everyone will be going you can’t play that way, you can’t do this, but ultimately it’s great to watch. And that’s what it should be.”
Gary Lineker loves the way Ange Postecoglou has Tottenham playing
Of course, very few would disagree with Lineker’s view, Spurs have become a side extremely exciting to watch for the neutral, let alone their fans.
And anyone supporting the clubs competing with Tottenham may now be fearing the worst for the future.

Postecoglou has had very little time or chance to build his squad as of yet, there was so much going on in the summer.
And heading into January, it does feel like a crucial window for the club.
Despite his praise, even Lineker must think that Postecoglou needs help at Tottenham, he needs more numbers and quality in January.
That being said, Spurs were delivered good news yesterday hearing that one £40m centre-back target would love to join the club.
Along with a centre-back, it is widely believed that Tottenham would also like to recruit a midfielder and a forward next month.
It’s certainly going to be an interesting watch, just as Lineker has been enjoyed on the pitch.
