Romelu Lukaku has shared that his favourite moment in an Everton shirt was his home debut at Goodison Park.
The Inter Milan forward, who is currently starring for Belgium at Euro 2020, previously enjoyed a brilliant spell on Merseyside.
The left-footed striker scored 87 goals in just 166 appearances for Everton, so most consider him one of their elite players during the past couple of decades. It’s crazy to now see him in the conversation for the world’s best number nine.
Certainly, Lukaku still receives a lot of love from Toffees supporters.
In a Q&A on Wednesday he’s answered what his favourite Everton moment is.
“Home debut against Newcastle… I loved it,” he wrote on his personal Twitter account.
Lukaku scored two goals during a 3-2 Premier League win over Newcastle United back in September 2013.

Romelu Lukaku has gone on crazy rise since Everton exit
It didn’t go perfect for Lukaku when he left Everton for Manchester United in 2017, but it’s worked out just fine for him in the end.
The powerhouse forward netted 42 goals in 96 Man United appearances.
However, he’s gone on to another level since joining Italian giants Inter in 2019.
He’s just won the Serie A title with Inter, scoring 30 goals across all competitions last season.
There is no doubt he’s now firmly in the running for the golden boot at Euro 2020, so Everton can be proud they played a major part in his development.
