Tottenham Hotspur fans do not appear too concerned over claims that they will miss out on Tammy Abraham to Arsenal.
North London battle?
The Sun say that Spurs are interested in the Chelsea striker, but Arsenal are now set to win the battle to sign him on an loan, with an obligation to buy set at £40 million.
With Tottenham looking for another number nine, Abraham had emerged on their list of potential cover options for Harry Kane.
But at the current price, Spurs supporters are more than happy to see Abraham join Arsenal.
A boost for Arsenal?
Despite Tottenham’s fans apparent reluctance to see Abraham join, he could be a solid signing for Arsenal.
The Chelsea youngster has shown he is a reliable scorer even at Premier League level.
Abraham would offer Arsenal more of an aerial threat and he could link up well with the players already at the Emirates Stadium.
The likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Emile Smith Rowe and Nicolas Pepe would surely relish linking up with a forward who is so adept at holding the ball up and being a physical presence.
And the transfer may well work out well for Arsenal, as Arteta aims to bolster his squad for the new campaign.
