Liverpool legend Michael Owen has given his verdict on Darwin Nunez following his goalscoring display on Wednesday.
The Reds forward scored a first-half header to give Jurgen Klopp’s side a 1-0 Premier League win over West Ham at Anfield.
It was Nunez’s first goal at Liverpool’s home and fifth for the Reds since his move from Benfica.

The Uruguay international has needed a little time to find his feet at Anfield, but he’s certainly on the right track.
And Owen, speaking on Optus Sport at full time, believes Nunez has some great traits.
At the same time, the former Liverpool ace believes the 23-year-old still has some way to go in his development.
“It was a stop-start start to the campaign and the red card didn’t help,” said Owen.
“He does look a little bit rough around the edges still, he could have (had a hat-trick).
“He’s a powerful, aggressive runner and he doesn’t mind running away from goal and run into channels.
“I like a lot of what he does but then sometimes I think ‘wow, that’s a little bit rough around the edges’.
“He’s got a lot of improvement to come but I like his attitude, he plays on the edge and scored an important goal tonight.”

Nunez finding his feet
Nunez has been somewhat unlucky to arrive in the Premier League at the same time as Erling Haaland.
The Manchester City man has hit the ground running for his side, something that very few players can do.
When directly comparing the two players for how they’ve done in the past few months, then Nunez has been second best.
But it’s an unfair comparison simply because Haaland is such a force of nature.
Most players will need a little more time to acclimatise to a new league, something which Nunez is now doing.
