Arsenal may need to sell a few players.
The Gunners spent over £200m in the summer transfer window, and if they want to make any more new signings this month, they may need to shift a few players this month.
The likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah and Aaron Ramsdale have all been linked with moves away, and now, on the Seaman Says Podcast, there’s been some chat about Gabriel Jesus leaving.
The podcast’s host suggested that Jesus could be a good player to sell in order to raise money, and while David Seaman said that he wants the Brazilian to stay, he admitted that he understood the idea of selling the striker in order to raise a bit of cash.

Seaman can understand Jesus sale idea
The pundit spoke with his co-host about the idea of selling the £45m man.
“Can I throw in a controversial one who I think you could get decent money from. I’d tout Jesus around, he’s probably the one. It’s not worked necessarily, if you could get a decent amount from him and upgrade that position,” The host said.
“I’ve gone quiet. Look, I don’t want to see him go, but I know what you mean,” Seaman said.
Upgradeable
Jesus is a fantastic footballer, it has to be said, but based on what Arsenal need right now, it could be easy for the Gunners to upgrade on the striker.
If we’re being brutally honest, Jesus hasn’t been good enough this season, he’s scored just three goals in the league, and if Arsenal were to sell him for a decent fee, they probably wouldn’t find it too difficult to find a player who could come in and outscore the Brazilian.
It’s probably unlikely that Arsenal will sell Jesus, but, as Seaman says, it’s easy to see the logic behind this argument after the £45m man’s slow start to the season.
