West Ham has allowed Jordan Hugill to sign for Norwich City on a permanent basis, putting an end to his miserable spell with the Hammers.

The former Preston North End striker has completed a permanent switch to Carrow Road as he looks to reinvigorate his career.

After sealing a big-money move to the Londoners, to say things haven’t worked out would be an understatement. However, he had little chance to impress at the club and his move has got plenty of Hammers fans talking on social media.

Twitter was awash with comments from disgruntled supporters following the confirmation, with many questioning the decision to make a loss on a player they paid around £10m for back in 2018. (BBC)
