Arsenal fans have been lamenting their luck again as Mikel Arteta confirmed that Thomas Partey will once again miss a period through injury.

The Ghanaian midfielder returned to the fold against Spurs at the weekend but limped out of the clash again, with Arteta confirming the injury was in the same place as the previous one.

It is another bitter blow for Arsenal in what is turning into a bit of a miserable season, at least domestically, for the club.

Partey was the big marquee signing of the summer and had looked impressive in his opening weeks in the English game. However, these niggling injuries are a concern and could well derail the Gunners’ season somewhat.
