A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted in near-disbelief after hearing that Hansi Flick is reportedly interested in the Spurs job.

Tottenham are currently in the process of looking for a new manager after Jose Mourinho was sacked in April.

A number of high-profile coaches who’ve been linked with the role, such as Julian Nagelsmann and Erik ten Hag, have committed their futures elsewhere.

Flick, who’s set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, is sure to be in demand by many clubs given his heroics at the Allianz Arena.

He only took the Bayern reins in November 2019, but already has six trophies to his name as a coach.

Flick has won the Bundesliga title, the German Cup, the Champions League, the German Super Cup, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.

Thomas Muller recently said “the last time we were so well drilled was under Pep Guardiola”, and Robert Lewandowski said “he’s not only a great coach, he’s also a great person”.

And according to The Telegraph, Flick “is thought to be interested in the Spurs post, despite being linked to the German national team job.

“Tottenham, as yet, are not thought to have reciprocated that interest.”

Needless to say, plenty of Spurs fans would love to have the 56-year-old on board:
