Talksport’s Simon Jordan has backed Neil Lennon to come out fighting from his corner at Celtic, despite conceding he feared for the Bhoys boss.
Jordan, who formely owned Crystal Palace, is a regular on Talksport and was passing comment today on the pressure Celtic boss Lennon is coming under of late.

With Rangers pulling clear in the title race, some Celtic fans have called for Lennon to go. However, Jordan, despite admitting Lennon is on ‘icy ground’, believes the former Leicester man will relish the challenge.
“I fear they will (sack Lennon) in the end. I think he’s on very icy ground”, Jordan said.
“I fear he has a lot to do to make this ship right. But, you what, these are the sorts of odds people like Neil Lennon should want to face and ram it down people’s throats. And i hope he does”.
Celtic face Lille this evening after having a miserable time of things in the Europa League under Lennon. The Scottish champions having accrued just a single point in their EL campaign thus far.

Lennon, then, will be hoping for a big win, even though the game is something of a dead rubber.
Jordan has a point but is it too late? – TBR View
Most people would say that it’s gone too far now for Neil Lennon to salvage. The team are playing poorly and a large section of supporters have turned on the boss.
Normally, this is a recipe to spell the end of a manager’s spell in charge of a club.
Lennon, though, is a fighter and like Jordan says, may relish the chance. The problem is, is that it might just be too late.
