New Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui has admitted that reported Tottenham Hotspur target Adama Traore may not sign a new deal.
Lopetegui has just taken over at Molineux and has the World Cup break to get to grips with his new squad as he looks to steer them away from relegation danger.
As per the Express and Star, he has spoken about Traore’s contract situation, and said he wants the Spain international to sign a new deal.
90Min said that Spurs could go back in for Traore as they look to further improve their options at right wing-back despite signing Djed Spence in the summer.

Lopetegui on Traore
He said: “Adama is our player. I’ve known him since he was 14 at Barcelona, he is stronger now!
“I know he has not finished the contract but the most important thing is he works hard here until June.
“After that, I don’t know what is going to happen. Of course, I would be very happy if he was here.”
The report said that £18 million man Traore has been a Tottenham target for the last three transfer windows, and Antonio Conte has only been manager for the past two.
With his deal set to expire at the end of the season, January would represent their final opportunity to bring in a transfer fee unless he signs a new one.
That could open the door for Spurs to finally get their man, or of course they could try and wait to swoop in the summer on a free transfer.
