‘I don’t get it’: Spurs fans question Ryan Mason’s call not to play Tanguy Ndombele

Spurs were seen off with relative ease by Leeds this afternoon as Ryan Mason endured another nightmare day in charge.

Despite getting back into the game through Heung-Min Son, Spurs were the second best team throughout and were punished for it.

Patrick Bamford, Stuart Dallas, and Rodrigo all scored for Leeds, who continued their fine season in the Premier League.

For Spurs, it was a case of another bad performance where they got nothing. Harry Kane did have a goal harshly ruled out for offside, while he also hit the bar in the second half with the game at 2-1. But other than that, there was little to shout home about.

And one of the biggest confusions for onlooking Spurs fans was the exclusion of midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele. The Frenchman entered the game late on but seems to be out of favour under Mason thus far.

Twitter, then, was full of comments from Spurs fans questioning the decision from Mason, with many believing Ndombele should have got more time on the pitch today.

Here’s a look at what’s been said on social media from some Spurs fans about Ndombele.
