Arsenal have been utterly brilliant since the turn of the year.
It feels like it’s been a lifetime since the Gunners last lost a Premier League game, and there could well be a title on the horizon.
Mikel Arteta’s side were at it again this weekend as Arsenal dismantled Brighton at The Amex.
Speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, Ian Wright has been discussing the win over Brighton and it’s fair to say that he was impressed by one player in particular.

Ian Wright praises Arsenal star
The pundit spoke about Kai Havertz’s recent performances, claiming that he never saw Havertz becoming as good as he is right now.
“The thing with Kai is that when he came, and I was one as well who said that he was coming to replace Xhaka to play as that left eight, maybe the 10, but I couldn’t see it Kell, I didn’t see this Kai Havertz now, but now I’m looking at it and saying how do we do without him?” Wright said.
Kai Havertz has shocked everyone
Wright has been shocked by Havertz’s recent improvements, and, to be honest, he’s not the only one.
Over three years at Chelsea and during his first six months at Arsenal, Havertz looked like a busted flush.
The German didn’t look to have what it took to get to grips with life in the Premier League, but after settling in a bit more at Arsenal, he’s become an important weapon in Mikel Arteta’s side.
Havertz is scoring for fun at the moment, and if he can keep this up between now and the end of the season, he could well help his team towards a Premier League title.
Havertz has improved so much over the past few months, and it’s not a coincidence that his improvement has coincided with an incredible run of results for Arsenal.
