‘I could almost cry’: Arsenal fans react as Arteta names Martinelli and Smith-Rowe in starting XI against Chelsea

Arsenal fans have been reacting to their latest first XI and squad announcement as Mikel Arteta makes changes to his 20-man squad for the clash with Chelsea.

The Gunners boss has dropped Alex Runarsson completely, while the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith-Rowe are both thrust into the starting team by the Spaniard.

Arteta, it seems, has ensured his squad has enough to go at from the off and from the bench, with the inclusion of youngsters like Smith-Rowe of particular note, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also returns to the bench.
