‘I can’t understand this’: Some Man City fans beg ex-Etihad hero to return after recent comments

Sergio Aguero has said that training sessions with Manchester City were more intense than with new club FC Barcelona.

Speaking on his Twitch channel, the Etihad Stadium legend claimed that training with the La Liga giants has been lax compared to what the culture was like at City.

Aguero joined Barcelona this summer after his contract with City expired. However, the Argentine international is out injured until November at the earliest.

The 33-year-old attacker is one of many new players who joined the Catalan side in what has been a historic summer for the club. Messi departed Barcelona for PSG, a name who was key to Aguero signing for the team.

Indeed, it will be some time before Aguero steps out onto the Nou Camp for Barcelona. Yet his recent comments on Twitch caused some City fans to send pleas to their former striker to return to Manchester.

After all, the striker seemed to relish in the more intense training sessions at City. Moreover, supporters on social media are open to Aguero returning to Manchester.
