West Ham United star Michail Antonio turned 32 earlier this week and the Englishman detailed what he was forced to do by his teammates on his birthday.
As football fans, we never really know how close players are to each other at clubs. Do they hang out together? How do they celebrate birthdays? Are there gifts involved or is there a huge party?
Well, going by what Antonio has just said in conversation with Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson, it looks like birthdays are celebrated a tad bit differently at West Ham United.
Antonio revealed that he wasn’t given any presents by his teammates but instead, he had to do something for them.
What West Ham players made Michail Antonio do on his birthday
Speaking about what happened on his birthday this week, Antonio said on The Footballer’s Football podcast: “No, instead of them giving me something I had to bring in some Krispy Kream doughnuts for them!
“It’s unbelievable. On your birthday, you have to bring stuff in.”
A stunned Wilson responded: “It’s crazy, I can’t believe that. It’s a scandal! It’s your birthday and you’re the one bringing in the cakes for everyone else.”
“It’s unbelievable,” Antonio then said.

Antonio used a Will Smith and Chris Rock meme to welcome 32
Antonio has been around for a long time now but it’s still hard to believe he’s 32 already – maybe, it’s just us!
The Englishman wasn’t really pleased about growing old either.
He took to his Twitter to make a joke about his age by posting a picture of the incident that occurred between Will Smith and Chris Rock at the Oscars a few days ago.
Have a look at the hilarious meme below!
