Arsenal have enjoyed a rise back to prominence over the past two years, challenging for the Premier League title last season and remaining in the chase for a big Double this term.
When Mikel Arteta was given the Gunners manager’s job in December 2019, they were a lowly tenth in the Premier League table.
It has been a long and arduous road back to the top for the Gunners, with Mikel Arteta and Edu having performed major surgery on the club.
However, Arsenal are now back in the big time and, better still, they’ve done it in a way that should see them maintain those levels.

For instance, the Gunners dressing room is now harmonious and united, plenty of top talents have long-term contracts, and Hale End is producing some real gems.
Arsenal legend Cesc Fabregas, speaking to PA Media, has now made an exciting prediction regarding the north Londoners’ future.
What has Arsenal icon Cesc Fabregas said about the Gunners’ future?
The Como boss believes that, if the Gunners win the Premier League title this season, it could be a springboard for them to become a force to be reckoned with for several years.
“Obviously you can imagine what it will mean – more than just winning a title,” Fabregas told PA, via BBC Sport.
“But the belief will be back, the trust between the players and the staff and the fans and the whole club.
“The family that was there when I was there will be back, the moments of ‘we are strong and we know we can win’; at the moment it is a little bit ‘are we ready, are we not?’
“If they can manage to win the first one [under Arteta], I believe it could become a constant threat for Arsenal to be challenging for all the top titles.”
The next few weeks will be nerve-wracking and exciting in equal measure for Arsenal fans.
The Gunners, Liverpool and Manchester City are contesting a title race for the ages, while Bayern Munich await at the Allianz Arena next week.
Whatever happens, Arsenal look like they’re getting better and better, and the next few years will be exciting for the Gunners fanbase.
