Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans could finally join Arsenal this week after speculation throughout the summer.
Arsenal have been linked with the Belgian international since the transfer window opened but he remains at the King Power Stadium.
Tielemans was left out of the Leicester starting XI for their 2-1 weekend loss to Southampton after Brendan Rodgers confirmed he wasn’t in the ‘right frame of mind’ to play.
The Foxes are dealing with interest in a host of their players and the feeling persists they need to sell one to kickstart their own summer spending.

Tielemans could finally join Arsenal
Journalist Dean Jones told Give Me Sport: “Brendan Rodgers knows that Tielemans is still seeking a move to a bigger club.
“He was trying to protect his team by leaving him out.
“It didn’t really work out, but I am told he could still leave this week if the offer from Arsenal finally lands.”
Lauded by former Leicester captain Wes Morgan as a ‘special’ player, Tielemans would be a big miss for Leicester and a good signing for Arsenal.
It is perhaps a touch strange that Arsenal have been linked with Tielemans for so long but have not really hammered home their interest yet.
Perhaps they are confident that nobody else will come in for the Belgian, and they have prioritised other targets so far this summer.
But with, for example, Liverpool needing central midfield reinforcements and Tielemans out of contract next summer, it might be an idea to get a move on.
Could Tielemans finally move this week and end the summer of rumours about his future? Only time will tell.
