Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has waxed lyrical about Bryan Gil, saying he’s “sure” about the Spurs talent’s future.
The 21-year-old has come a long way since the summer, when he was being linked with another loan move away from N17.
Gil stayed put at Tottenham as the transfer window shut, but he was still way down in the pecking order.

Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Richarlison, Kulusevski and Lucas Moura were all ahead of the Spaniard.
But now, with Kulusevski and Richarlison still out, Gil is starting to get more and more game time.
Gil caught the eye in a 30-minute cameo as Spurs drew 1-1 with Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on Wednesday.
He also impressed in a brief appearance in the 3-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the competition, winning a late penalty for Spurs.
Tottenham head to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon and, speaking ahead of the game, Conte spoke highly of Gil.
‘A player who sees football’
Admittedly, the Spurs boss suggested that the youngster isn’t quite ready to start in the Premier League.
However, Conte is confident about how Gil will develop, even comparing him to Manchester City icon Bernardo Silva.

“I believe in Gil otherwise I don’t risk a player in the Champions League,” Conte told football.london.
“I try to find the right moment for when he can be useful for the situation… I’ve seen good improvement.
“I am sure about Gil’s future because we are talking about a player who sees football.
“If I have to compare Gil with someone, maybe I can see him like Bernardo Silva at City.
“For me in this moment physically he is not strong but we are talking about this type of player.”
