Graham Roberts has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur legend Steve Perryman would not be impressed with Tanguy Ndombele’s latest reported stance.

Ndombele unhappy

Football London have reported that Ndombele is unhappy with Tottenham who are about to sell Moussa Sissoko and Serge Aurier.

Aurier and Sissoko are Ndombele’s two closest friends at Spurs, and his time at the North London club could become more difficult after they leave.

As a result it is claimed that Ndombele is considering leaving.

But Spurs great Roberts wasn’t exactly worried about the Frenchman’s current concerns.

Frustration at Tottenham

Roberts’ reaction is one which is likely to be echoed by many Tottenham fans, who have expected more from Ndombele.

Spurs broke their club record transfer fee to sign the midfielder, but he is yet to really deliver on his price-tag.

Ndombele has shown signs of real quality on the ball, but his fitness has been questioned and he hasn’t had the impact that many hoped.

Ndombele is yet to feature in pre-season after the birth of his first child, which means that he could be struggling to fit enough to feature in Tottenham’s first game of the season, which comes against Manchester City in just over a week’s time.
