Hutchinson posts reaction on Instagram after Patino loan move
Omari Hutchinson was amongst those to wish Charlie Patino well on Instagram in reaction to the Arsenal youngster joining Blackpool on loan, with Rio Ferdinand also encouraging the midfielder following his move.
Patino is arguably the most exciting player coming through in an amazing crop of youngsters at the Emirates. And he will now be hoping for a breakout year at Bloomfield Road.
The 18-year-old has joined the Championship side for the campaign. Certainly, plenty of Arsenal fans are going to monitor his progress closely.
Patino has been tipped for the top. Rio Ferdinand actually labelled the teenager the young player to watch in the Premier League in 2022 at the start of the year. The pundit even suggested that the talent he has is a joke.
Obviously, his Premier League debut will have to wait a little longer. But clearly, Ferdinand remains an admirer of the starlet as he was amongst those to respond to Patino on Instagram in the wake of his move.
There were also messages from Hutchinson – who recently left Arsenal for Chelsea – and Mika Biereth…

It will be fascinating to see how Patino fares with Michael Appleton’s side. He certainly has the ability to really stand out in the Championship and make a statement to Arsenal while away.
But he is still developing his game. So he is going to need patience.
Miguel Azeez is another major prospect coming through at Arsenal. And yet, Azeez really struggled to force his way into the Portsmouth side which played at the level below Blackpool last season.
Having said that, Patino appears to be the jewel in the crown at the Emirates. So it should be absolutely no surprise if he finds himself right in Mikel Arteta’s plans upon his return.
