West Ham completed a move for highly-rated attacker Jarrod Bowen on Friday’s deadline day for the January transfer window – and some Hull City fans on Twitter were distraught to see him exit them.

The Hammers confirmed (official website) that they wrapped up a deal for the English winger and that he signed a five-and-a-half year deal at the London Stadium.

Bowen has moved to the Premier League for a £22million deal (Guardian) and his job now will be to try replicate the same kind of dazzling form he had in the Championship with Hull.

The right-winger scored 17 goals in 32 games across all competition this campaign for the Tigers and he will leave a massive gap in their team.

He is a left-footed goal machine that likes to drift in from the flank and he’s also been deployed in a central role a few times this season.

David Moyes managed to add some attacking firepower just before the January window shut and won the race to sign Bowen.
