Hugo Lloris believes Tottenham Hotspur gave up too easily against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
The Frenchman endured one of the toughest nights of his professional career as the German giants battered the north Londoners 7-2 in the Champions League.
Ex-Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry helped himself to four goals to compound their misery, and the inquest into the shocking result has now begun.

Ruthless Bayern scored three goals in the space of four minutes as the game drew to a close, and club captain Lloris said (Daily Mail): “I feel really bad for the fans mainly because we gave up a little bit too easily and the score was even worse.
“Since the start of the season we have never played at the same intensity for 90 minutes.”
Spurs now take on Brighton at the weekend and only a win will do for Mauricio Pochettino.
TBR’s view
It is a damning assessment from £100,000-a-week player Lloris (Spotrac) that Spurs fans should be furious to hear.
The one thing expected of players at the highest level at the very least is that they give everything on the pitch, for a full 90 minutes.

No matter how a game is panning out, paying fans deserve to see 100% effort and to hear that the Tottenham players ‘gave up a little too easily’ against the Germans is a real kick in the teeth.
Lloris’ comments suggest there is a real mentality problem right now, and Pochettino and his players have to unite to sort it to stop future capitulations.
