Hugo Lloris has admitted that he does not know what his future holds after claiming that Spurs have not yet made any attempt to extend his contract – in comments reported by The Telegraph.
Lloris is now into the final year of his deal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. And it does appear that Spurs have perhaps taken steps to potentially replace the Frenchman.

Pierluigi Gollini has arrived on an initial loan. And the Italian won plaudits from many supporters in pre-season.
Most however, will be expecting Lloris to keep his place as number one for the new Premier League campaign.

The Frenchman was outstanding towards the end of last season. It was a reminder of how good he can be.
Nevertheless, it appears that Lloris remains somewhat in the dark over what the future holds. He insisted that he is yet to speak with Spurs about a fresh deal.
“I don’t know. There is nothing from the club, to be honest,” he said, as reported by The Telegraph. “I don’t have to show my loyalty towards the club after nine years and season No.10 that is coming. I’m just calm and relaxed and focused on myself and make sure that I’m ready to compete on the first game.
“I always give my priority to Spurs and we will see what will happen.”
Spurs have little need to rush into contract talks with Hugo Lloris
Lloris has been an incredible servant. And there is little reason why he cannot continue to play at a very high level for a few more years.
The 34-year-old – who earns £100,000-a-week – impressed in the latter stages of last season. And Nuno Espirito Santo will be hoping that the presence of Gollini pushes Lloris further.
But Spurs have no need to rush into talks. If he struggles, Tottenham may be better off calling time on his career in North London.
And if he steps up once again, Spurs will surely fancy their chances of being able to convince their captain to carry on – no matter how late into the season they initiate fresh discussions.
