Tottenham goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris applauded his teammate Harry Kane for his performance on Thursday night.
Spurs beat Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 in the first leg of a Europa League Round of 16 tie.
It means that Jose Mourinho’s side have a healthy advantage on aggregate ahead of next week’s away trip to Croatia.
Kane, 27, was the difference on the night for the Premier League outfit, scoring a goal in each half.
The English striker tapped into an empty net in the first half after Erik Lamela’s shot ricocheted off the post into his path just a few yards from goal.
He doubled his and Spurs’ lead in the second period with a smart finish, manoeuvring space for himself inside the penalty box and firing a low finish between the defender’s legs.
Lloris said post-match that teammate Kane is someone who’s loving his football right now.
“He’s just enjoying his football. As you can see today, he attracts the ball,” Lloris told BT Sport.
“Harry was there at the right time, at the right moment to score [the first goal]. The second goal it gives some relief to the team before the second leg.”

TBR’s View:
Kane is arguably in the form of his career right now, and manager Mourinho has elevated his game to even dizzier heights.
The centre-forward now has 26 goals in 37 matches across all competitions.
But the fact he’s got 16 assists as well shows he’s a playmaker too.
It’s worth noting that he also made a brilliant defensive clearance in the Dinamo Zagreb fixture and appears to be at the heart of everything good Spurs do on the pitch.
