Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has made a highly impressive start at Tottenham Hotspur.
The midfielder completed a move to north London from Southampton for a reported fee of around £15 million (Sky Sports), which was offset by Kyle Walker-Peters moving in the other direction.
Barring a shaky debut against Everton, the Danish maestro has been excellent for Jose Mourinho’s side and has been ever-present in the Premier League so far.

He has been credited by some for the upturn in form of Tanguy Ndombele and Lloris has delivered a glowing testimony of the 25-year-old and his impact.
He told the matchday programme for tonight’s game with Brighton (quoted by football.london): “Pierre has been doing an amazing job right from the beginning.
“He has had a big impact because of his personality, and he shows his ability and quality every day on the field.
“He is committed and ready to help the team. He is pushing us. We are all going in the same way and we try to get the best out of each other.”
TBR View – Leader Hojbjerg just what Spurs needed
Clearly Hojbjerg is loved by his teammates as well as the fans.

His soaring popularity is a testament to the kind of character he is, and Mourinho will hope he can continue to be a big influence.
Spurs have needed a leader-type in midfield for some time, and in Hojbjerg they clearly now have one.
