Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could give Yasser Larouci a chance to impress tonight. Liverpool kickstart their pre-season with a friendly encounter against Tranmere Rovers tonight.
The Reds make the short trip to Prenton Park and Klopp is expected to run the rule over several players. According to James Pearce (journalist for The Liverpool Echo), Larouci could get his opportunity.
Pearce expects to see Larouci involved against Tranmere tonight. Klopp will take a look at the versatile teenager, who can play on the wing or as a left-back.
The Algeria-born youngster, who can also represent France at national level, joined Liverpool in November 2017 from Le Havre. He slotted into the academy side and is yet to make his first-team debut.
But Klopp wants to take a look at Larouci against Tranmere. The 18-year-old was part of Liverpool U18’s FA Youth Cup-winning side, proving to be a key player for the Merseyside club.
Liverpool fans took to Twitter to discuss the possibility of Larouci playing against Tranmere tonight. Many fans believe he is a top talent for the future and here are some tweets discussing this.
