'Huge mistake', 'shameful': Some Arsenal fans react after hearing who Arteta's reportedly about to sell
Arsenal appear to be on the verge of selling Matteo Guendouzi.
And some Gunners fans aren’t happy about this in the slightest.
French outlet La Provence reported on Wednesday that Guendouzi could be a Marseille player by next week.
And according to football.london, the 22-year-old has agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 club.
Meanwhile, Portuguese giants Benfica are trying to mount a late push to try and land Guendouzi, according to O Jogo.
Here is what some Arsenal supporters have made of the latest reports:
Huge huge mistake. He went from being highly thought of and valued to now leaving. Same happening with Saliba. Shameful— Mohamed (@msheikhLDN) June 23, 2021

Arsenal need to stand their ground on this. If they can spend 25m on Gerson, they can spend a hell of a lot more for Guendouzi. Time to dictate.— Ronan McHugh (@GunnerRaider) June 23, 2021
Arsenal and Guendouzi – rocky end to the relationship?
Guendouzi joined Arsenal in 2018 from Lorient for a reported £7million fee.
His early days at the Emirates suggested that Arsenal landed a top prospect for a tiny fee.
Guendouzi has clocked up 82 competitive appearances for the Gunners.
However, Mikel Arteta froze him out in wake of an incident against Brighton last summer.
Guendouzi grabbed Neal Maupay by the throat towards the end of the Gunners’ Premier League defeat at the Amex Stadium.
That incident was apparently the last straw for Arteta amid a number of purported disagreements, culminating in the player training alone.
Guendouzi then spent the 2020-21 campaign away on loan at Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin.
