Arsenal fans are waking up today to news that Alexandre Lacazette could be on his way to Atletico Madrid as the club does all it can to ensure Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stays put.
An exclusive report from the Daily Star claims that a £30m deal is in place which would see the French striker complete a move to the Madrid outfit.
It comes as Mikel Arteta is in the midst of organising a squad reshuffle, with the Spaniard apparently willing to let Lacazette go as one of his ways of raising funds to improve the first-team squad.
Lacazette finished the season pretty strongly as the Gunners won the FA Cup. But it doesn’t seem to have made much difference, with Arteta seemingly willing to sacrifice his striker.
Some Arsenal fans, then, have been left a bit confused as to why the club is potentially going ahead with such a deal. It seems that Twitter is awash with comments from Gunners supporters, mainly those questioning whether this is a good decision or not.
Why sell him for 30million letting a young player go jus to create space for old Willian Mad oh

Would be a Huge Mistake.

Would be a huge mistake, his pressing is immense and hold up play is godly. Defensive effort for a striker is huge, especially for a team with such a terrible Defense. Pep literally starts Jesus for these reasons
