Mark Noble – 7

Led his team well and was at the forefront of their defensive efforts in the second half as he co-ordinated the midfield and protected his back four effectively. Didn’t allow any of Liverpool’s midfield three a moment’s peace.

Pedro Obiang – 8

Probably his best performance in a West Ham shirt, he was tireless in chasing down and applying pressure to the Liverpool attack and did not get carried away going forwards but inspired a comeback with his passing.

Manuel Lanzini – 6

Best known for his skills and silky footwork but it was his work rate which stood out at Anfield, doing the hard work to allow his teammates to excel with more freedom when looking to break forwards in front of him.
