Edimilson Fernandes – 4

Disappointing given his past appearances, but never really looked comfortable in the defensive wing back role and injury to James Collins left the midfield looking confused. Looked out of his depth.

Mark Noble – 5

Tried to get the Hammers going and moving forwards, one of few to really show some desire, but he was beaten by the Arsenal midfield time and time again.

Pedro Obiang – 5

Much like Noble, he tried to do the right things and get playing the right way, but couldn’t do it all alone.

Arthur Masuaku – 4

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain showed him up and gave him a torrid evening. Pinned back and sloppy defensively, he just couldn’t handle the former Southampton man.
