Troy Deeney – 7

The Englishman made a great start to the tie by slotting home a penalty two minutes in but had a quiet afternoon after his early goal. Deeney was always on the move trying to occupy the centre-backs but had little success.

Mauro Zárate – 6

Won a penalty for his side two minutes in but had to be taken off before half-time after a nasty looking knee injury. Looks like he could be out for some time.

Abdoulaye Doucoure (sub 45+9′) – 6 

Brought on for the injured Mauro Zarate and failed to help his side or do anything of note in the second half.

Craig Cathcart (sub 52′) – 5

Brought on for Janmaat, who had a yellow to his name, but was barely mentioned in the second half.

Isaac Success (sub 81′) – 5 

Could’ve sealed a win for his side but squandered the chance. Looked clumsy on the ball whenever he touched it.
