Premier League side Watford finally announced the signing of young Brazilian Richarlison on their official website this afternoon, beating off a host of other sides to secure him on a five-year contract.
The 20-year-old – who BBC Sport believe will arrive at Vicarage Road in an £11 million switch – had already agreed terms last week but his move to England was subject to being granted a work permit.
Richarlison has made a bit of a name for himself playing in the Brazilian Serie A for Fluminense, scoring 19 times in 67 matches, and he’s renowned for his skill, trickery and pace driving forward.
It is thought that the young Brazilian, who became the Hornets’ fifth signing of the summer window so far, could be in contention to feature in Watford’s Premier League opener against Liverpool on Saturday.
It was Watford who took to social media to announce their new arrival…
