How Tottenham’s players rated in their 2-0 victory over Chelsea

Kyle Walker – 7

Battled well with Marcos Alonso and performed the wing back role well throughout. Would have liked to have offered more when attacking but did a good job.

Victor Wanyama – 8

Won a number of crunching tackles and was a real lynchpin in the Spurs midfield. When Chelsea were on the ball, Wanyama was the key man and the best performer of the bunch.

Mousa Dembele – 6

A little rash with some of his tackling, Dembele was given a six match ban when the two sides met late last season and some of that tension showed. Composed when on the ball.

Danny Rose – 8

Superb in a more advanced role, he enjoyed the freedom afforded to him by being able to get further forward without ignoring or forgetting his defensive responsibilities. Left Victor Moses clueless when he got forward.
