Kieran Trippier – Returned to the side and put in a performance that will give Pochettino a lot to think about ahead of his team selection against Chelsea. Controlled the right-hand side of the pitch, where nearly half of Spurs attacks came from, and put in two superb crosses for Kane’s goals. 9.
Danny Rose – Pochettino’s decision to go with a back three gave Rose more license to roam down the left-hand side and join attacks, as he has done so effectively all season. Was overshadowed by Trippier’s performance though, who got more joy down the other flank. 7.
Victor Wanyama – Works hard as the engine room of the Tottenham midfield, and barely gave Watford a sniff. Runs tirelessly around the middle of the park and made sure that in-form Capoue didn’t come back to haunt Spurs. 7.
Heung-Min Son – Brings a lot of energy to Spurs whenever he plays, and followed up his good performance against Southampton with another impressive display. On another day he could have had a double of his own, but lacked composure at the crucial moments in front of goal. 7.

Christian Eriksen – Another game of pulling the strings for Spurs, playing a more supportive role as Alli and Kane led the side’s attacking intent. Was unfortunate that Kane took over free-kick duties in the second-half in search of his hat-trick. 7.
Dele Alli – After early season criticism for his slow start, he’s starting to run the show in the Spurs midfield alongside Eriksen. Hit the bar early on with a thunderous strike before taking his two goals well, and was taken off on the hour mark by Pochettino with the upcoming Chelsea match in mind. 8.
