Mousa Dembele – Found himself outnumbered by Liverpool’s midfield and didn’t know who to track and who to leave; not his finest match in a Spurs shirt. Much more solid performance in the second-half but the damage had already been done by then. 5.
Victor Wanyama – Failed to provide his usual defensive cover as Liverpool’s midfield trio of Lallana, Coutinho and Firmino ripped Tottenham apart. Seemed to lose all composure in the tackle, guilty of jumping in on numerous occasions resulting in a foul. 5.
Christian Eriksen – Couldn’t dictate midfield play anywhere near the amount that he’s accustomed to, and will be frustrated he didn’t make the most of the free-kick he fired over. More influential as Tottenham tried to claw back the deficit but he didn’t create a single chance. 6.
Heung-Min Song – Showed his lack of composure in front of goal once again when he fired straight at Mignolet when clean through. Immediately crowded out by a disciplined back-line when in possession of the ball and failed to make an impact. 5.
Dele Alli – Visibly frustrated by Tottenham’s lack of attacking presence and struggled to keep calm in the second-half. Couldn’t add to his impressive recent record of goals and assists as he was dominated out of the game. 5.
