Kyle Walker – His defensive frailties against strong opposition were exposed once again as Liverpool ran riot in the first-half. His crossing was wayward when pushing forward, and his whole afternoon was summed up when he fired straight out of play from a good position. 4.
Toby Alderweireld – Struggled to cope with Liverpool’s attacking tempo at times, and found Mane’s pace too hot to handle. Lacked the leadership to discipline his defence as they faced wave after wave of Liverpool attack; showed his fragile nature when faced with direct runners. 4.
Eric Dier – Horribly dispossessed in defence for Mane’s second goal, and was very far off the pace during the first-half. Redeemed himself slightly with a last-ditch challenge on Mane, but he picked up a booking for a rash challenge to sum up his evening on Merseyside. 4.
Ben Davies – Lost the run of Mane for Liverpool’s opener, and was given far more of a test at Anfield than in his previous Premier League matches. Nearly cost Spurs a third goal after dawdling in possession, and was caught out time after time with runs in behind. Woeful match. 3.
