Kyle Walker – 7
Rarely tested defensively, the England international made the most of that freedom to bomb down the wing whenever he could. Has been more influential, but he posed a threat going forwards.
Toby Alderweireld – 7
Calm and assured on the ball, when it did come his way he looked to build moves from the back, and also posed a threat at set pieces when on the attack.
Jan Vertonghen – 8
Perhaps the pick of the back four, Vertonghen was equally as strong defensively as his team-mates and did not seem fazed by the rare Bournemouth counter-attacks, but he also produced some brilliant passing to get Spurs on the front foot.
Ben Davies – 7
Like Walker, he had more freedom to roam forward than usual and was able to show parts of his game that he doesn’t often exhibit.
