How Tottenham rated in their 4-0 thrashing of Bournemouth

Going into this tie, Mauricio Pochettino and Tottenham were fully aware of the need to produce a result in order to keep up the pressure on Chelsea at the top of the Premier League and maintain their current form.

That was exactly what happened, and it never looked in doubt from when Moussa Dembele pounced on a corner to rifle into the back of the net, with a beautiful move of free flowing football producing a second only three minutes later as Heung-Min Son tucked away.

On his return from injury, Harry Kane added a third just after half-time after turning Bournemouth’s Simon Francis inside out, and substitute Vincent Janssen even found the back of the net in the league for the first time to round off a great afternoon for Tottenham.
