Victor Wanyama – The midfielder has stepped up his game since moving to Tottenham and looked at home in such a big fixture. He broke up play well and did an excellent job on keeping Paul Pogba relatively quiet. In the second half, he missed a great chance to equalise from a free header. 6

Mousa Dembele – It wasn’t his best performance for Tottenham as he failed in transition against the Manchester United midfield. He didn’t make any of his driving runs into the final third and was withdrawn early. 4

Christian Eriksen – It was a quiet afternoon for the Dane as he once again failed to make an impact in wide areas. His set piece delivery wasn’t as good as it normally is and he struggled to influence the match in final third. 4

Dele Alli – Like Eriksen, Alli failed to influence the match in the final third. He made probing runs and his movement was good, but his contributions on the ball were a disappointment. Manchester United dealt with him well. 5
