Arsenal will be working hard to keep hold of Max Dowman on a professional contract when he is eligible for one.
At just 15 years old, the playmaker has already made quite the impression on the senior team, proving he can mix it with players many years his senior.
It’s just the start for Max Dowman, though, as Arsenal look to help him progress into a star for many years into the future.
With a few appearances in the Premier League and in cup competitions, the playmaker is moving from strength to strength.
That, naturally, brings about some interest from other football clubs.
Arsenal will be keen to get Dowman on a first professional contract when he is eligible for it, which could come with a huge pay boost.

Max Dowman in line for huge pay boost with Arsenal contract
Arsenal will be hopeful of sealing a professional contract for Max Dowman when the time comes, as the youngster is such a top talent.
That will come with a big pay boost, as revealed by TBR Football’s Adam Williams.
He said: “Arsenal are at the top of the food chain when it comes to attracting and retaining players who aren’t eligible for their first professional contract.
“They’ve also proved to youngsters that there is a pathway to the first team setup and, beyond that, the starting XI.
“I don’t know the details of Arsenal’s policy when it comes to first-time pro contracts, but it’s likely that there will be a structure whereby a player’s basic salary can’t exceed a certain amount.
“However, the contract he signs will also be heavily incentivised. That way, Arsenal can reward strong performance but simultaneously protect themselves if, as sadly happens with a lot of ‘wonderkids’, they don’t reach their full potential.
“So it might be that Dowman gets say, £5,000 per week as a base wage, but appearance fees and other bonuses will take it much, much higher.
“I’d be very surprised if his ultimate salary doesn’t equate to something like £20,000-30,000 per week, and I think that’s pretty conservative.”
It would be quite an increase for Dowman, but it’s reflective of the status he has in the Arsenal standings.
For now, it’s all about gaining that experience at both the youth level and senior level at the club.
The time will eventually come when a contract is on the table.

When can Max Dowman sign his first professional contract at Arsenal
As it stands, both Arsenal and Dowman will have to wait on a contract so he can sign fresh terms.
The youngster was only eligible to feature in senior competition this season, but there will be another year or so until a deal can be offered.
FA and Premier League rules state that a player cannot sign a first professional contract until they turn 17.
For Dowman, that won’t be until December 31, 2026, meaning there is just over one year until the contract can be signed.
That’s not to say work won’t be done to ensure that he stays an Arsenal player in the weeks, months and year ahead.
