Chelsea and Tottenham are just two of the Premier League clubs that have been linked with Ivan Toney in recent weeks.
Chelsea have emerged as the latest suitors for the Brentford star, while Tottenham are said to have been eyeing the player for most of the summer.
Indeed, it has recently been reported that Tottenham are still viewed as having an outside chance of signing Toney this summer.
One of the main points regarding a potential deal for Toney is how much the Bees want for him.

Brentford want £50m for Ivan Toney amid Chelsea and Tottenham links
TBR Football understands that Brentford are not planning to bend on their asking price for the England international.
Toney is desperate to leave and has agreed terms on a move to Saudi Arabia with Al-Hilal ready to more than triple his wages, should he make the move to the Pro League.
However, Al-Hilal are short of agreeing terms with Brentford – offering around £35million for the 28-year-old. TBR is told that Brentford want at least £50million for Toney.
Brentford’s stance comes as Chelsea consider revisiting the Toney situation as they push to bring in a new striker before Friday’s deadline.
With Romelu Lukaku closing on his move to Napoli, Chelsea will use the money to bolster their attacking ranks.
Toney is an option they are considering, but TBR can confirm that no bid or approach has yet been made.
Victor Osimhen remains Chelsea’s number one target and talks continue over a prospective deal for the Nigerian.
Brentford sticking to their guns
There hasn’t been much concrete speculation on Toney this summer after months of speculation involving him and multiple leading Premier League clubs.
The bidding war Brentford seemingly wanted for Toney hasn’t materialised, but at the same time, they’re eager not to see his value drop too much.
Nevertheless, tentative interest now seems to be emerging with just a few days left before the transfer deadline.
With Toney’s contract expiring next summer, this will be the last chance the Bees have of recouping a decent fee for a striker Thomas Frank has deemed “world-class”.
