Unfortunate to be the man sacrificed after Ander Herrera’s red card, the Armenian looked to close down whenever possible and was looking to create chances but had little of the ball.

Ashley Young – 5

Some woeful deliveries from set pieces and showed the lack of quality that is likely to see him make an exit from Old Trafford sooner rather than later. Did a defensive job more efficiently.

Marcus Rashford – 6

Contributed little other than pressing the Chelsea backline, and Gary Cahill in particular. Hard to tell if he really was fully fit as David Luiz kept him quiet throughout. Wasn’t afraid to track back and help out when needed in a game which didn’t suit him.
