It was never going to be an easy evening for Manchester United in west London as Jose Mourinho returned for the second time this season, having lost out in a four goal thrashing in October. The sending off of Ander Herrera only served to make matters worse as Eden Hazard was fouled yet again by the Red Devils. United sat back and looked to avoid conceding, but N’Golo Kante found the break-through in the second half with a strike from distance finding the bottom corner after David de Gea had previously made two inspired saves.

Made some brilliant saves in the first half that kept his side in the game but could do little about N’Golo Kante’s strike as he stepped the wrong way just miliseconds before the Frenchman let loose.
