It was a crucial victory for Manchester United as they moved just three points behind Tottenham Hotspur and are back in the race for Champions League football. They have been frustrated by their inability to kill games off and that remains a concern as they didn’t take any of their chances to put the game beyond Tottenham. Jose Mourinho will be relieved to have the three points and will be pleased that his side managed to do so with a clean sheet. Here is how their players rated on Sunday:

David de Gea – The Spaniard is reliable between the sticks for Manchester United and he was important once again with a great stop to deny Son Heung-min in the first half. 7
