Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Fresh from his hat-trick in the reverse fixture last week, he nearly got on the score-sheet again when he flashed a powerful drive just over the bar. Ran into space in the box on more than one occasion but the final pass was always unable to find him, much to his frustration. 6.
Marcus Rashford – Made an early appearance on Wednesday evening due to Mkhitaryan’s injury and impressed again, carrying on from the weekend with good endeavour on the wings. His ability to change pace caused problems, getting him in-behind the defence on numerous occasions. 8.
Bastian Schweinsteiger – Given just under half an hour by Mourinho for only his fourth appearance all season and kept United disciplined after going down to ten-men. Looked like his usual imperious self, dictating midfield play and showing lovely vision at times to set Rashford away. 7.
Marcos Rojo – Came on after Bailly’s reckless dismissal and got stuck in straight away, making two blocks and a sliding challenge to impose himself on the game. Worked hard to make sure that the visitors left France with their clean sheet intact. 7.
