Antonio Valencia – Carried his customary attacking threat down the right-wing, and played a lovely weighted ball across the box for Ibrahimovic to smash home. Always offered an outlet whilst attacking, and more than matched the pace of Musa when needing to defend. Reliable. 8.
Chris Smalling – Dealt extremely well with the threats of Morgan and Huth from set-pieces early in the game, and is beginning to look a lot more switched on at centre-back after increased game-time. Still needs to fight for his spot against Rojo and Jones, but he impressed. 7.
Eric Bailly – Looked sharp on his United return, making a key tackle inside the area with Musa set to shoot. Commanded the back four and will almost certainly be first-choice centre-back for Mourinho from now on; played confidently with both his head and feet on Sunday. 8.
Marcos Rojo – Pushed out to the left due to the return of Bailly, and he used his over-lapping freedom well to get forward down the flanks. Was caught napping at times by Mahrez and found himself too far up the pitch too often, leading him to being replaced by Blind at half-time. 6.
