How Manchester United rated against Watford as they continued their European charge

Manchester United extended their unbeaten run to 16 Premier League matches as they saw off the challenge of Walter Mazzarri’s Watford at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Juan Mata’s first-half effort and Anthony Martial’s superb team goal ensured that United claimed all three points against the Hornets after yet another dominant performance at Old Trafford.

 

Victory closes the gap between United and their top-four rivals above them, lifting them to fifth, ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Tottenham on Saturday evening.
