How Manchester City’s players rated during their thrilling 2-2 draw with Tottenham

Sergio Aguero – Looked much sharper in attack against Spurs, more like his usual self than his performance at Everton last weekend. Linked superbly with De Bruyne from the start as City looked far more potent in front of goal, but faded as Spurs worked their way back into the match. 6.

Gabriel Jesus – Almost had the dream introduction to Manchester City life, going close with a header before scoring from an offside position. Doesn’t take a genius to work out that he will be a huge part of City’s season from now until May if he continues like this. Showed an instinct to be in the right place at the right time, and looked dangerous on the ball. 6.

John Stones – Didn’t have enough time to make an impression after coming on in the 84th minute. Will be hoping to regain his place in the starting line-up for next time out. N/A.

Fabian Delph – Barely touched the ball after being introduced in the 90th minute. N/A.
