How Manchester City’s players rated during their thrilling 2-2 draw with Tottenham

Manchester City threw away a two-goal lead as Tottenham came from behind to salvage a thrilling draw in their Premier League clash at the Etihad on Saturday evening.

After Tottenham had hung on during a one-sided first-half, goals from Leroy Sane and Kevin de Bruyne – both from Hugo Lloris errors – gave City a commanding lead in a crucial match in the race to catch runaway leaders Chelsea.

Dele Alli pulled one back after heading home from Kyle Walker’s glorious cross before the match became steeped in controversy.

Raheem Sterling was clearly pushed in the back by a desperate Walker when one-on-one with Lloris, but nothing was given; less than a minute later, and Spurs had gone up the other end and equalised through Son’s sweeping finish past Bravo.

Despite both sides threatening for a winner, with Gabriel Jesus having a goal disallowed for offside only moments after making his Manchester City debut, they had to settle for a share of the points.
